Exploring emotion and speech dynamics in India

Our research will focus on identifying unique speech features that correspond to different emotional states in both healthy individuals and those with Major Depressive Disorder. By comparing the vocal characteristics of these groups, we aim to uncover distinct markers that differentiate normal emotional expressions from those indicative of depression.
